Abstract
THE USE OF GPS TECHNOLOGY ENABLES THE EXECUTION OF PRECISE ORBITAL AND LACRIMAL SURGERY BY OFFERING LIVE TRAJECTORY-GUIDED INTRAOPERATIVE NAVIGATION, THEREBY MAXIMIZING OUTCOMES AND MINIMIZING COMPLICATIONS. IT HELPS IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BONY AND VASCULAR LANDMARKS AND, OBVIATES DAMAGE TO VITAL STRUCTURES, ESPECIALLY IN THE CONVOLUTED ORBITAL APEX. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE IS TO EDIFY THE DELEGATES, ON THE APPLICATION OF REAL-TIME NAVIGATION-GUIDED SURGICAL PROCEDURES UTILIZING GPS TECHNOLOGY, BY CASE DISCUSSION AND VIDEO ILLUSTRATIONS EMPHASIZING PRECISE LOCATION, REAL-TIME SURGICAL SURVEILLANCE, AND CUSTOMIZED RECONSTRUCTION, AUGMENTING SAFETY IN COMPLEX ORBITAL, APICAL AND LACRIMAL PROCEDURES. IN THIS COURSE, THE SPEAKERS WILL DELVE INTO THE APPLICATION OF GPS TECHNOLOGY TO USHER THROUGH INTRICATE ORBITAL TRAUMA AND TUMOR SURGERY, AND ALSO ENDOSCOPIC LACRIMAL SURGERY.
