Abstract
AIM- To detect visual field loss in early glaucoma on 10-2 VFA and compare it with 24-2 VFA
METHOD- This cross sectional observational study, 97 eyes were included POAG 48 (49.5%), NTG
31(32%), and OHT 18(18.6%) eyes. 24-2 and 10-2 Sita standards were done for all and those with mean
deviation ≥ -6db were enrolled. RNFL and GCIPL thickness was also done.
RESULTS-Among those without central visual field defect in 24-2 VFA, 52%, 63.6% and 56.2% had
defect in 10-2 VFA among POAG, NTG and OHT respectively [(p=0.002), (p=0.115), (p=0.054)
respectively]. Corresponding thinning was seen in average RNFL and minimum GCIPL thickness. Mean
GCIPL thickness was significantly low among those with POAG
