Abstract
Paracentral Acute Middle Maculopathy (PAMM) is characterized by a band of hyperreflectivity in the inner nuclear and outer plexiform layers. It is mainly an SD-OCT finding. Clinical lesions are very subtle and can be missed unless careful examination is done. The cause is ischemia usually due to microvascular diseases or due to some drugs. It can be associated with a systemic disease. Here we will present a case of PAMM as the only presenting sign of underlying cardiological problem in an otherwise healthy male with no other symptoms. We will illustrate the multimodal imaging findings. This case will emphasize the necessity of detailed systemic examination specially cardiological check up in a patient diagnosed with PAMM.
