INTRODUCTION-

This system is simple, cheap, enables self awareness of refractive conditions, and it is ideal for remote places, where even electricity may not be available.

Does not estimate just lens prescription, but create a portable, inexpensive interactive and also fun tool for self-assessment of the eye’s focusing abilities.

MATERIAL AND METHOOD-

System is based on Schneier principle and Spatially Resolved Refractometers but uses mobile displays as light ources to create the dual of Shack-Hartmann-based techniques

CONCLUSIONS-

Technique goes beyond traditional lens aberration measurement.

Assess myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia without using cycloplegic drugs and is particularly suited for developing countries and at-home assessment.

RESULT

It is portable low-cost system evaluates eye refractive disorders.
