Abstract
1. Sweeping hydro dissection technique for cortico capsular adhesions(CCA). This technique involves a controlled hydro dissection with a sweeping motion of the blunt cannula in the area of CCA , thereby also breaking the adhesions mechanically. This helps in effortless rotation of nucleus and easy cortex removal.
2.Cortex bloom technique for effortless cortex removal with the co axial irrigation aspiration probe in regular phacoemulsification cases with intact posterior capsule and zonules.
3.Slow swirl technique for emulsification of soft posterior polar cataracts. This safe technique minimises the risk of intraoperative posterior capsular rent.
.4. Disc and peel petal technique of nucleus disassembly, a modified flower petal technique, which does not require a chopper
5.Side port hydration with antibiotic for better sealing.
