Abstract
Purpose: To report ocular associations of Anterior Megalophthalmos in addition to increased corneal diameter.
Methods: A 37-year-old female presented with blurred vision in the left eye for 5 months. Megalocornea, retrocorneal pigments, deep anterior chamber, phacodonesis, open angles on gonio confirmed the diagnosis of Anterior Megalophthalmos.
Results: B-scan was performed which showed vitreous index of 0.65 and 0.62 and Ultrasound biomicroscopy showed long ciliary process.
Conclusion: With this case report we present different ocular associations which helps in the diagnosis of this rare entity caused due to anterior segment abnormalities which is useful as this entity has difficulty in surgical management due to enlarged ciliary ring and weak zonules.
