Abstract
PURPOSE:
To evaluate the topographic and visual outcomes of Topoguided PRK with Accelerated Crosslinking in keratoconus.
METHODS:
34 eyes of 30 subjects was included.BCVA,SE,keratometry, axial cone location and magnitude index,RMS of aberrations parameters and corneal densitometry using Scheimpflug image were analysed.P-value<0.05 was considered statistically significant. RESULTS: Median follow-up time was 9.18months.RSBT was 351µm.Cylinder reduced by 1.38D (p<0.001),while sphere,SE and BCVA were statistically similar.Kmean, Kmax and aCLMI were significantly reduced (p<0.001).Corneal densitometry at anterior 2mm, total anterior and total cornea zone had significant increase. Lower and higher order aberrations were significantly reduced (p<0.001). CONCLUSION: There was profound flattening with regularization of the cornea with reduced aberration and cylinder, thus achieving good topographical and visual outcomes with minimal tissue ablation in keratoconus.
