Abstract

In cataract surgery we plan the surgery before hand according to the type of cataract and the IOL choice along with the patients’ systemic problems.

But complications do happen which we had not thought.

This can happen and come as surprise and may not know why it had to happen.

Some complications leaves you with lessons to learn so that it is preventable in other cases. But some complications may recur because you do not have clue as to why it had to happen.

This paper is to show you few such situations. Since some situations are not in your hand, it will let you think twice before you doubt the ability of the operating surgeon.
