Abstract

Purpose: To report COVID 19 associated corneal graft rejections.

Methods & Results: This study reports 4 patients who had undergone Optical PKP presenting with acute graft rejections, one immediately after getting infected with COVID 19 infection and three of them after receiving COVID 19 vaccination. We highlight the time of presentation of vaccination, clinical features and diagnosis of graft rejection. All three patients responded to systemic and topical steroids.

Conclusion: COVID 19 infection can induce hyperacute endothelial rejection. Vaccine related rejections may be less severe and may be reversed with adequate treatment.
