Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To compare RNFL thickness between migraine patients and healthy controls.2.To assess the quadrant most affected by migraine.METHODOLOGY. A total of 196patients between 20-60 years of age attending Eye OPD will be taken up for study after satisfying inclusion and exclusion criterias.out of 196,96 were migraine patients and 96 were control.Verbal informed consent will be taken from every patient. Data will be collected through OCT FINDINGS.INCLUSION CRITERIA: All patients with confirmed diagnosis of migraine. Gender- both.Age group- 20 to 60 yearsEXCLUSION CRITERIA: Glaucoma,High Myopia,Retinal veno occlusive disorders, Diabetic Retinopathy, Hypertensive Retinopathy,All other Neuro Ophthalmic disordersSTUDY DESIGN:Observational study
RESULT AND CONCLUSION 1.Study showed that RNFL thickness was significantly thinner in migraine patients compared to the control group. 2.Out of 96 migraine patients, 42 patients had temporal quadrant thinning and 20 had nasal quadrant thinning
