Abstract
A 19-year-old female presented with best corrected visual acuity of 6/12 OU with +10.50 D refractive in OD and with +12.75 D spherical refractive error in OS. Axial lengths were 16.22 mm OD and 16.30 mm OS. The intraocular pressure was measured as 14 mmHg OD, 15 mmHg OS. Central corneal thicknesses of right and left eye were 538 microns and 544 microns, respectively. Fundus examination showed crowded discs with blurred margins along with horizontal macular folds emanating from the fovea and extending nasally to the optic disc . OCT demonstrated papillomacular fold of sensorial retina without involvement of underlying retinal pigment epithelium and choroid. FFA demonstrated no leakage at macula and periphery. This is the rare case of nanophthalmos with hyperopic fundus . No features of uveal effusion was noted.
