Abstract
Retrospective descriptive analysis of fourteen patients of GPA between 2008 and 2022. Mean age of presentation was 46.8 years. Redness and pain were the common presenting complaints. Hearing loss was the most common systemic complaint followed by arthralgia. Necrotizing scleritis and marginal keratitis were the most common ocular sign. ESR values ranged between 50 and 150. Out of 14 patients, 8 were found positive for C-ANCA, 1 was positive for P-ANCA, 7 were biopsy proven GPA, 8 had ocular symptom as the first presenting feature of GPA while 6 were diagnosed case of GPA who developed ocular symptoms in due course. Cyclophosphamide was the treatment of choice. 4 responded to methotrexate while 1 was shifted to cyclophosphamide later. Elevated ESR and C-ANCA positivity proved as a useful diagnostic method in our study, though imaging and biospy were done in inconclusive cases.
