Abstract
Choroidal granuloma and serpiginous like choroiditis are the entities associated with tuberculosis. Choroidal granuloma occurs when mycobacterial load is higher, while Serpiginous like choroiditis occurs when mycobacterium activity equals that of immune activity. Both disorders manifesting as a single spectrum in the same site is not reported in the literature so far. Hereby we describe in our series of 3 patients, where one form manifested as the other during healing. Among two of our subjects the initial manifestation was that of an active choroidal granuloma, which upon resolution behaved like serpiginous like choroiditis. Another patient had serpiginous like choroiditis who presented as granuloma later at the same site. Does the interplay between immune system and mycobacterial activity causes varied clinical manifestation of the same spectrum of disease is the subject for debate.
