Abstract

A 35 year old male admitted with shorness of breath,generalised weakness,fever in emergency on evaluation it reveals tachycardia of 112 beats per minute and blood pressure was 90/60 mmHg and palor ,and decresed vision was observed. On fundus examination it shows pre retinal hemorrhages,flame shaped hemorrhages,Roth spots. Blood investigation revealed pancytopenia,hb 4gm/dl,and B12 deficiency. the patient was started on blood transfusion and B12 and folate supplementation which showed a prompt response in resolution of symptoms and signs
