Abstract

A 68 year old male presented with complaints of diminution of vision in Right eye(RE) since 3 months. Best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) was 6/9,N8 (RE) and 6/6,N6(LE). On fundus examination, right eye had a large Pigment Epithelial Detachment(PED). Optical coherence Tomography(OCT) showed tall peaked notched PED (759 microns) with double layer sign, intraretinal fluid and subretinal fluid. Fundus fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography confirmed an active extrafoveal polyp corresponding to the notched PED on OCT. Patient was given a single dose of intravitreal Razumab followed by 1 sitting of micropulse laser targetted to the polyp 1 week later. Following this, OCT showed dramatic collapse of the PED with final BCVA of 6/6 N6.
