Abstract
Purpose-To report a case of orbital lymphoma presented at a rural medical college
Design- Interventional case report
Methods-A 62yr old male patient presented to us with severe proptosis, with involvement of lids and adnexal region, lacrimal gland, cornea, conjunctiva with tenon’s capsule. MRI was done suspecting lymphoma, and biopsy was taken from bits of all involved areas which confirmed the diagnosis of Non hodgkin’s Lymphoma, further IHC was done in this case and referred for radiotherapy
Results- Significant improvement was noted (reduction in proptosis ) was noted at subsequent follow ups post radiotherapy. No complications were observed.
Conclusion-Timely intervention supported by histopathological diagnosis and radiotherapy has improved patients cosmesis in this case .
