Abstract

A 62-year-old male came to the Ophthalmology OPD with complaints of sudden onset head which was not relieved on medication and sudden loss of one sided vision since 2 days which was painless and non progressive in nature. He was a known case of Hypertension, on medication. On examination visual acuity was OD – 6/18 and OS – 6/12. Anterior segment and Fundus examination was normal. Visual field analysis showed homonymous hemianopia with macular sparing. MRI Brain showed acute intraparenchymal hemorrhage in the left parito-occipital region. MR Angiography showed narrowing of left vertebral artery.
