Abstract
47 yr old male, referred as OD-PACS post peripheral iridotomy & OS-Iridocorneal endothelial syndrome (ICE ) 11 yrs ago. His presenting BCVA was OD 6/6 & OS 6/12.BaselineIOP was OD 14 & 20 mm Hg with 3 AGM in OS.He initially underwent OS trabeculectomy with mitomycin C.Eventually bleb failed & he underwent OS aurolab aqueous drainage implant(AADI) in superotemporal quadrant (STQ) with venting slits & tube in AC. 5 months post op tube retracted with corneal edema & high IOP.So he underwent AADI implantation in superonasal quadrant (SNQ ) with 2 venting slits & tube placed in sulcus. His vision dropped in OS to 6/36 due to cataract. For which he underwent OS phaco with IOL implantation along with tube trimming. On 1month follow up BCVA was 6/12 & IOP was 14 on AGM monotherapy in OS.Due to complexity of ICE syndrome, management in these cases is challenging hence this case is being presented to acknowledge the long term regular follow up and timely intervention helped to preserve the vision.
