Abstract

Introduction: PPRCA is an uncommon disease with unknown etiology characterised by retinochoroidal atrophy and pigment clumping along the retinal veins, usually occurring in a bilateral and symmetric fashion.Case summary: A 30 year old female presented with complaints of headache for eye checkup. She denied any systemic, familial history or medication intake . The best corrected visual acuity in OU was 6/6 . Anterior segment was normal in OU, without any signs of inflammatory responses . The intraocular pressure was 14 mm Hg in OU. Investigations: The findings of USG, fundus autofluorescence (FAF), OPTOS CP, spectral domain-optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT),could help us to confirm the diagnosis. Conclusions: We have reported a case of PPRCA with unilateral presentation with optic disc drussen. Multimodal imaging features of PPRCA will improve our understanding, diagnosis and prediction of the prognosis of this disease.
