Abstract
We report two cases of cystic craniopharyngioma with distinct symptoms at presentation – one in pediatric (6years) and one in adolescent age group ( 19 years), with similar clinical features of significant optic atrophy, and MRI confirmed large cystic craniopharyngiomas. Both cases underwent transsphenoidal endoscopic near total resection of the mass, and endocrinology evaluation and management. Visual outcomes were suboptimal in both cases and correlated with age at presentation, VEP and OCT RNFL findings.
