Abstract

Objective:To study eyelid reconstruction by Modified Mustardes for all lower eyelid medium & large sized tumours. Methodology:Study place-Department of Ophthalmology, Radiology, Pathology; Study period-January 2021 to May 2022; Study design-prospective observational; Exclusion criteria-Tumors in upper eyelid. Neither buccal mucosa nor skin from inner arm or thigh was taken to form lower eyelid graft. 1 out of 18 cases showed recurrence[5.5%] {Sebaceous cell carcinoma-2 cases(1 case showed recurrence); Basal Cell Carcinoma-10 cases; Squamous Cell Carcinoma-3 cases; Melanoma-3 cases all showed good results}. Conclusion:The lower eyelid being almost immobile is a boon to get fixed even without an inner flap.
