Abstract
We report a 41 years male patient who presented to us for second opinion of retina. On examination right eye was within normal limit with best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) 6/6 N6, left eye BCVA was 6/9 N6 with normal anterior segment findings and on fundus examination neovascularisation of disc(NVD) and elsewhere (NVE) were present along with few segmental sheathing. Routine baseline laboratory investigations, fundus fluorescence angiography (FFA) were advised. FFA shows NVD,NVE , ischemic areas temporal to macula. Left eye retinal vasculitis was diagnosed clinically and Panretinal photocoagaluation with systemic steroids were advised. But Patient went away without treatment and came back after 7 days with vision dropping to CFCF in Left eye with presence of vitreous haemorrhage. So vitrectomy was done after two weeks. Intraoperatively disc was seen to be elevated with exudation, ischemia around macula and retina.Vision on first post operative day was doubtful perception of light.
