Abstract
ADVANCEMENTS IN OPHTHALMIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGY HAVE PROVIDED US WITH OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY ANGIOGRAPHY(OCTA), A POTENTIAL NON-INVASIVE ALTERNATIVE TO CONVENTIONAL, SOMETIMES RISKY FUNDUS FLUORESCEIN ANGIOGRAPHY(FFA). OCTA A RAPID, NON-INVASIVE METHOD TO OBTAIN ANGIOGRAPHY OF THE CHORIORETINAL VASCULATURE HAS ALL THE MERITS TO BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF NEW AGE CLINICAL ARMAMENTARIUM. IN RECENT YEARS OCTA HAS DRAWN QUITE AN INTEREST OF CLINICIANS AND RESEARCHERS CAUSE OF ITS EXPANDING UTILITY IN A WIDER RANGE OF OCULAR PATHOLOGIES. SO IT IS PRUDENT TO UTILISE THIS KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED THROUGH RESEARCH IN DAY-TO-DAY CLINICAL PRACTICE. WITH THE AID OF CLINICAL SCENARIOS,THIS INSTRUCTION COURSE(IC) SHALL PROVIDE EYE CARE PROFESSIONALS WITH A TOOLKIT FOR OCTA INTERPRETATION IN VARIOUS RETINAL AND CHOROIDAL DISORDERS.
