Abstract
RETINAL IMAGING HAS ADVANCED SIGNIFICANTLY IN THE PAST DECADE WITH EVER-IMPROVING TECHNIQUES OF IMAGE ACQUISITION AND POST-IMAGE PROCESSING. MORE RAPID IMAGING ALSO MAKES THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE QUICK AND COMFORTABLE. THE ABILITY TO IMAGE THE RETINAL PERIPHERY HAS CHANGED THE WAY WE MANAGE PATIENTS WITH RETINAL AND POSTERIOR SEGMENT DISEASE.
IN THIS COURSE, THE INSTRUCTORS WILL ENDEAVOR TO DESCRIBE HOW ULTRA WIDE FIELD IMAGING CHANGES THEIR PRACTICE. BY THE USE OF CASE-BASED EXAMPLES WE HOPE TO SHOW THE VALUE OF THIS INVESTIGATION MODALITY.
