Abstract
Strabismus is a common ophthalmologic disorder affecting 3% of preschool children and approximately 4% of adults . The process of accurately diagnosing strabismus is complicated and requires specialized skills. Residency training has not been easy and straightforward in the strabismus field, unlike other specialities. The ability to evaluate a case of strabismus is an essential skill that needs to be acquired during residency training in ophthalmology, and proper education and clinical teaching are required to understand and retain the basic concepts. Learning sensory and motor examination of strabismus needs time and practice. It is difficult and not always possible to teach concepts with real patients. Here we demonstrate sensory and motor adaptation examination in an innovative way that will help residents in their clinical practice as well as their examinations.
