Abstract
METHODS: After diagnosis of an unusual presence of a second foldable IOL in vitreous cavity in presence of intact posterior capsule with in the bag foldable PCIOL, Firstly a routine 3 port 25G vitrectomy was done and all vitreous adhesions was removed from second IOL.Then the first IOL was removed from the bag and explanted from the eye.Then a GUPTA ring was introduced to tackle intraoperative miosis.Then a central capsulectomy was performed and the second IOL was removed through that opening.Finally a multipiece IOL was placed in sulcus with proper optic capture to avoid decentration of IOL
RESULT: Patient regained 6/6 BCVA after 3wks follow up
CONCLUSION: We shouldn’t be prejudgemental by our own level of perceptions, rather we should always remain open minded
