Abstract

A 58 year old man from Kashmir, India presented with sudden onset painless drop in vision in Right Eye for a month and half, the presenting vision of patient was Perception of Light present, inaccurate in 3 quadrants. The patient underwent a pars plana vitrectomy with suprachoroidal and subretinal drainage of blood with endolaser and silicone oil endotamponade with injection aflibercept. The video abstract talks about the various techniques used intra operatively to achieve best outcome for patient.

Surgical intervention at the right time can save the vision in a patient with massive subretinal and suprachoroidal hemorrhage. Presenting visual acuity is not a factor in choosing a patient with massive subretinal and suprachoroidal hemorrhage.
