Abstract

Working as a general ophthalmologist in an underdeveloped area is challenging. In most of the cases it is not possible for them to reach centre of excellence due to various reason. This video shows various oculoplastic & aesthetic procedures performed by a general ophthalmologist in a tertiary health care in Northeastern India.

A general ophthalmologist also can attain the required minimal skills by good reading, attending lectures, workshops, live demonstration & practising skills in hands on courses.
