In our video we like to describe the use and application of high magnification indirect viewing of the central retina system in dissecting tractional membranes in diabetic vitrectomy. With the advent of use of Super macula high magnification lens it provides us with field of 64-77 degrees and 1.07 magnification of the image, hence ideal for dissection of tractional membranes, ILM peeling in macular holes, epiretinal membrane removal, and submacular surgery. Its utilization in removal of diabetic tractional membrane has been a blessing for careful and delicate removal of tractional membranes decreasing the occurrence of iatrogenic retinal breaks.
