Abstract
Once the haptic of IOL is stuck inside the cartridge or with the optic, it should be released without any damage for a successful outcome. Various methods of techniques are adopted by different surgeons, but none of them are satisfactory. Sometimes the surgeon compromises the situation by implanting the IOL with a broken Haptic. In this video, the author demonstrates two useful techniques, how to manage the stuck haptic from the surface of the optic or which gets trapped in the Cartridge during implantation. As prevention is always better, the author also demonstrates the all-precautionary measures to overcome it.
