Abstract

31 years old female presented to our centre with chief complaints involving diminution of vision in the right eye (RE) from past 6 months and left eye(LE) from the past 3 years with mild ocular discomfort. There was no history of redness, pain, ocular trauma or surgery, or systemic illness. Her visual status was 5/60 in RE with aphakic glasses and no light perception in her LE. Intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured 9 mmHg in RE by applanation tonometry and was digitally low in LE. Clinical examination showed the presence of multiple avascular filtering blebs and a large superonasal intercalary staphyloma in RE. There was a flat anterior chamber with superiorly subluxated cataractous lens and poorly reacting pupil in RE. LE eye had total leucomatous corneal opacity with small areas of sclera thinning present adjacent to the limbus. Posterior segment was normal in RE and couldn’t be assessed in LE.

Left eye 360 degree corneal scleral graft was done at the perilimbal sclera
