Abstract
Materials and results- Three patients with significant strabismus post scleral buckle were analyzed. The first patient was managed conservatively with prisms conservatively. The other two patients were managed surgically. Owing to extensive fibrosis, antimitotic agents were addons during surger. In one patient muscles were extensively damaged owing to buckle infection, transposition and hangback surgery helped us to achieve satisfactory alignment in the same.
Conclusion- Management of non resolving post scleral buckle strabismus is a challenge owing to distinct underlying mechanism. Management needs to be individualized and modified to achieve successful motor alignment.
