Abstract
A 65 year old male came with foreign body sensation and low vision since 1 year. BCVA 6/36 with pseudophakia diffuse anterior stromal haze. An oval brown superficial stromal lesion 6 x 5 mm with irregular margins and surface extending 0.5 mm into visual axis was suggestive of CDK. ASOCT showed thickness below the lesion of 316. Superficial keratectomy with multilayered dry AMG done. The technique involved drying the corneal surface alcohol assisted epithelectomy followed by superficial keratectomy to remove the lesion. The area of thinning was covered with AMG. A second layer of AMG applied with tissue glue and BCL placed. Postoperatively, symptoms improved BCVA 6/12 reduced corneal astigmatism. Complete healing seen at 4 weeks.
