MIGS procedures widens the scope of iop regulation in mild to moderate glaucoma cases. It is a perfect solution to the surgeon’s concern about patients’ compliance , without compromising on target iop. It also bypasses the severe complications associated with conventional surgeries like trabeculectomy. Ab- interno µhook trabeculotomy doesnot require expensive or sophisticated instruments.It is performed using tanito microhooks and can be easily combined with cataract surgery.
