In our surgical practice, we occasionally encounter cases with extremely decentered pupils. Patients may need refractive surgery or cataract removal. It is essential to bring the pupil back to the original for optimum visual outcome. Different methods for pupilloplasty used are using cutting by scissors, vitrectomy probe, suturing. In this video, the author demonstrates the unique and novel technique of diathermy-assisted pupilloplasty. This will change the way pupilloplasty is being done in such cases.
