Abstract
Purpose: To report an unusual case of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) presenting with fern pattern on fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA).
Methods: A 35-year-old male patient, a case of recurrent CSC presented with bilateral neurosensory detachments at macula along with pigment epithelial detachments and retinal pigment atrophy tracts. He earlier had exudative retinal detachment in inferior retina and had undergone FFA guided focal laser at macula.
Results: We performed FFA and observed multifocal leaks at macula in both eyes. Inferior retina in both eyes showed presence of fern pattern. Focal laser at macula was done, along with risk factors modifications.
Conclusion: Fern pattern on FFA is a rare possibility in CSC which can be associated with earlier resolved exudative retinal detachments
