Abstract
A 13 year old boy on treatment for Bcell ALL presented to the Ophthalmology OPD with complaints of floaters in the right eye from 1 week. On examination his visual acuity was 6/6, N6 in both eyes. Pupillary reactions were normal. Anterior segment was unremarkable. Dilated fundus examination revealed whitish patches of retinal necrosis with retinal haemorrhages in the inferotemporal quadrant in the right eye. Left eye was normal. Blood test for CNV DNA was done and showed 7500 copies/ ml. The patient was started on Intravenous Ganciclovir. The retinitis resolved with resolution of floaters.
