Abstract
White Dot Syndromes represent a spectrum of the disease process and hence pose a diagnostic dilemma for the clinician. Multimodal imaging helps to delineate the level at which causative pathology is present. We present a case of a young myopic female who presented with complaints of blurred vision in OS since 5 days with a central scotoma with systemic history of migraine and episode of viral fever 15 days ago. BCVA was 6/6, N6 OD and 6/15(p), N8 OS. Anterior segment examination was WNL. Fundus revealed a yellowish white dot at macula with an optic disc pit along the inferotemporal rim of ONH in OS. Differential diagnosis of AMN, PAMM and PIC was made. En face SS OCT and SSOCTA pointed the etiopathogenesis to be deep capillary plexus ischemia at the level of outer retina and choroid, thus helping to achieve a final diagnosis of AMN. Excellent resolution of ischemic areas in DCP & restoration of outer retinal layers is well documented & highlights the importance of multimodal imaging.
