Abstract
Ocular tuberculosis (OTB) can affect any ocular tissue of the eye and manifests most commonly as TB uveitis. Protean clinical manifestations, lack of consensus on the diagnosis, and absence of standard guidelines on management potentiate the problem of ocular TB management. We,hereby, present a case of recurrent ocular TB with protean manifestations along with a literature review of various treatment options for recurrent OTB. A 35-year-old female presented with sudden blurring of vision in LE for 4 days. Fundus examination showed LE active multifocal choroiditis (MFC), disc edema, and macular edema, while RE showed healed MFC scars. She was diagnosed with probable ocular TB and treated with ATT 4 years ago when she presented with RE neuroretinitis. This was followed 1 year later by RE MFC and nodular scleritis in LE another 1 year later. Following the current episode of LE recurrent OTB, she was treated with a course of systemic steroids in tapering doses along with immunosuppressants
