Abstract
Managing brown cataracts is a challenge even for experienced surgeons owing to its large size, hardness and association with weak capsule and zonular support. Manual SICS has been shown to be good technique in tackling such hard cataracts. In this video we showcase some tips and tricks to make things easier, safer and better while managing such brunescent cataracts with MSICS. The topics covered would be on making the ideal sclerocorneal tunnel, getting a good capsulotomy and how to deliver the large nucleus.
