Abstract
A 42 yr old female patient reported to us with diminished vision in both eyes (R>L) since 3 yrs with mild pain in the right eye since 1 week. She is a known case of Type II diabetes mellitus with hypertension. On examination, Visual acuity of right eye was PL+, PR accurate, Left eye= 6/36, IOP was raised in both eyes (R>L). Iris (R/E) neovascularization was seen and iridodialysis inferiorly, Pupil was mid-dilated sluggishly reacting to light R/E. Anterior segment findings L/E were normal. IDO examination, OCT-FMT and RNFL, USG B-scan were done which revealed vitreous haemorrhage with neovascular glaucoma and posterior vitreous detachment R/E and moderate NPDR and clinically significant macular oedema L/E. Inj. Ranibizumab given (first dose to right eye) and patient is being followed up. Anti- glaucoma, Atropine and Predforte E/D medications started. Treatment for detachment to be undertaken in time.
