Abstract

37 year old male presented with chief complaints of gradual, painless and progressive diminution of vision in both eyes (more in left eye) with nyctalopia, photophobia and metamorphopsia in both eyes noticed since last 1 year.

BCVA RE-6/9,LE-6/18.Defective color vision in both eye.Anterior segment -within noramal limit.

Both eye -Fundus examination,Fundus autofluorescence,optical coherence tomography ,Visual field test and electroretinogram performed.

Differential diagnosis include -CONE-ROD DYSTROPHY,STARGARDT’S DISEASE,

BEST MACULAR DYSTROPHY/AUTOSOMAL RECESSIVE BESTROPHINOPATHY.

Management-Cycloplegic Refraction was done and Tinted glasses were given.

Amsler grid home monitoring.

Genetic counselling.
