Abstract

Childhood glaucoma affects one in every 15000 live births. There is no known way to prevent this condition. Early detection and treatment are essential to maximize visual potential. The diagnosis can be made clinically, without an accurate measurement of IOP. This video aims at describing the evaluation protocols in detail among children of different age groups and protocols to be followed for new and review patients. The parameters that are mandated to be checked during review are emphasised. This Video aims at describing various low vision assistance available to provide additional visual potential to these children.
