Indirect ophthalmoscopy, despite being of stellar utility both in the diagnosis & treatment of a multitude of retinal pathologies that would otherwise be out of bounds to us, has silently & almost furtively fallen into disfavour without a valid reason, This video enunciates the process of learning the fine art & science of IDO in a step-wise easy to replicate manner & is intended to redeem the device & its usefulness mainly for the beginning residents & fellows, it is hoped that this modular exercise emphasised herein will greatly ease the learning process & thus banish the demons from the learners ‘ minds once for all. The whole video is in the form of 10 commandments with a suggested time frame for practice
