Abstract

Case 1: Internal Limiting membrane peeling in a case of type 3 fundal coloboma with total retinal detachment PVR A with Giant retinal tear. Surgical management involves core vitrectomy and PVD induction. Vitrectomy around the GRT flap. BBG dye-assisted ILM peeling was done. Vitreous shave around the GRT flap is completed. Fluid air exchange is done. Laser around the flap done.

Case 2: PVD induction in Type 2 fundal coloboma with total retinal detachment. PVD induction was difficult. Triamcinolone was used to stain the vitreous. PVD was induced by the suction with a cutter and using the ILM forceps.
