Abstract
CENTRAL RETINAL ARTERY OCCLUSION (CRAO) IS A well-known ophthalmic emergency, involving the sudden, dramatic onset of devastating visual loss, Its management, however, remains highly uncertain and
controversial, there is little scientifically valid information on the natural history of visual outcome in CRAO.
NA-CRAO includes eyes with the classic clinical picture of permanent CRAO with retinal infarction, cherry red spot, and absent or poor residual retinal circulation on fluorescein angiography,
AIM ; To Assess the role of arterial sheathotomy at normal IOP vitrectomy
OUTCOMES: to assess and analyze the role of 25-27 mmhg IOP vitrectomy to try and analyze if it could be of any use
Methods and Material : we used 23 gauze valve trocar and normal IOP 25-27 mmhg to relieve the pressure on blood vessels and try and reperfusion the retinal vasculature with very good success and fruitful outcomes in terms of reperfusion of retinal vasculature
